                        Job IdentificationJob Title: PsychologistLocation: SanliurfaReports to: Project ManagerStart Date: ASAPFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeDuration: 1 year (31.12.2017)IMPR Humanitarian is a Nongovernmental and Non-profit organization based in Ankara working in coordination with the Humanitarian community. IMPR Humanitarian currently addresses the needs of war-affected Syrians and Iraqis through its operational bases in the region where it carries out relief, rehabilitation, protection, post-conflict development, advocacy and resettlement services for those uprooted or affected by violent conflict and oppression. IMPR Humanitarian has been carrying out its humanitarian assistance programs in close collaboration with national and international communities.Duties and Responsibilities of PsychologistIdentify and evaluate the needs of beneficiaries; mobilize and provide necessary services accordingly.Provide assistance to individuals, families or groups through counseling, therapy, group work, case management and advocacy.Employ relevant approaches to engage beneficiaries to develop resilience, set goals and address life challenges.Facilitate awareness raising sessions and activities aimed to strengthen coping mechanisms and the psychosocial well being of the beneficiaries.Supervise volunteers.Organize and conduct trainings for volunteers, staff members in identifying and assessing child protection, SGBV and high risk background cases.Open and maintain a file for each beneficiary (based on the IMPR Humanitarian file template) and ensure the confidentiality of all records.Draft both weekly and monthly reports.Ensure all information and data on the cases registered are kept in a safe and confidential environment.Carry out any other duties relevant to the nature of the job as requested by the Project manager.Qualificatios & Experience Required for the PositionUniversity degree; preferably related to psychology or other closely relevant fieldOne or two years of relevant work experience.Clear understanding of working with vulnerable women and women’s protection issues and children.Familiarity/prior experience with internally displaced persons and refugees and/or returnees within an NGO would be an advantage.Demonstrated experience in counseling work, implementing SGBV, PTSD, CP, RH and Women Empowerment programs.Experience in implementing individual and collective psychosocial sessions is a distinctive advantage.Good interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to organize and maintain records and compile detailed reports and other necessary paper work.Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.Computer/IT literacy (particularly MS Office programs)Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
